Sonu –y ile biten sıfatlarda –y düşer, -ier gelir. - Pretty (sevimli)- prettier (daha sevimli) Karşılaştırma sıfatından sonra “than” ifadesini eklemeliyiz. Cümleye “den, dan” anlamı katar. - Downtown is busier than villages. - A skyscraper is higher than a school building. Bazı sıfatlar düzensizdir.
